Remember a little while ago I said I was really busy on a project? Well this was it. Its a game featuring lots of my characters, atomic bunny, rolly screamer, jesterworm. We have made a demo level and you can see the videos here >> Atomic Bunny Videos

Basically I just did the concepts and backgrounds… coding and animation and modelling were done by my lovely boyfriend.

And the toy is still in development

And to think it all started with a crappy desktop background I made in my lunch hour over 3 years ago! lol.

I don’t know why, I decided to do a couple of illos based around girls sitting around, looking pretty. Mostly listening to music. I decided that I would give myself a time limit, so they have to be mega quick… just to see what comes out… so they are a bit scruffy

Its mainly about me getting over my fear of colour. For years I have been blacky and whitey thing, and this year I seem to have gone a bit mad for colour… as you can tell by the 2008 web design!

Anyway, here they are :):

A massive project that I have been working on at the moment has meant that I am pretty much having to leave Land of Painted Sky to fend for itself.  I can’t really talk about it much, but it involves Atomic Bunny and lots of my other characters. I am working on the storylines and character designs, so hopefully some time really soon you will be able to see how they have grown and got better from the quick little doodles that I have displayed on here for so long.

So Land of Painted Sky will probably go into sleepy time for a little while, because all of my drawing time is going into this project.. and when its all done I’ll post it all up here for you guys to see.

Its been ages and ages since I last posted! I have done stuff though!

Look! I finally finished that christmas card…. in June.

And I made this which started as a plant… ( I want to do a bit more work on the background tho, so view it as a work in progress )

So I’ve been doing loads of stuff AND I’ve been constantly fiddling with land of painted sky, working on some game ideas and characters and we’ve even got started on the molds for atomic bunny the toy! I can’t wait to start selling some on here. I hope you all want your very own to look after and love! lol.

On a more personal note I went to Latitude Festival at the weekend. I am desperately trying to cling on to the memories of what was an amazing weekend! I saw so many amazing things, met some really cool people and just generally had a fantastic time!

I promise from now on I will try and post more often and get back on top of this…. I’ll get that home page finished next week too!
