I’ve had illustration friday bookmarked for a really long time, mainly coz I really like the stuff on there. (Go there so you can agree with me )This week the theme was “visitors”, which suited that little green and pink alien girl that I did the other week. So I developed the idea pretty quick and came up with these little guys. It’s really simple because I really wanted to enter something this week

She doesn’t look impressed. I think its a reflection of the week I’ve had. lol.

Its only at 1200×1600 because its better to shrink than to stretch.

I am still working on her whole dress. I want it to be beautiful.

From now on I am going to try and post one thing a day in my gallery at least… well definately one thing a week. I am giving myself permission to not be allowed chocolate as punishment if I don’t post at least one thing a week- Even if its only in the sketchpad section. I have posted a few other things up, that I have had on my computer waiting for my image gallery to work too.

I got completely fed up with Aniga Gallery. I just couldn’t upload new things to it, and it took so much shoehorning to make it work how I wanted to and it didn’t work with this version of wordpress… with no date for an up date on the aniga website I started my arduous search for a new gallery. Luckily I came across Next Gen Gallery, which although you can’t comment on the piccies, looks better and works more efficiently.

I finally made the home page recent pics work too! Woo! If you are a wordpressian I recommend Next Gen, and the support is amazing. I posted a question on the forum and I got a reply pretty much immediately.

So anyway, Sorry if you commented on any of my old images and now your comment has disappeared. I still have it but no one else can see it. I enabled it so that you can comment on the whole gallery, as you can no longer comment on the images individually, so you can go and post there if it bothers you that much
