I got completely fed up with Aniga Gallery. I just couldn’t upload new things to it, and it took so much shoehorning to make it work how I wanted to and it didn’t work with this version of wordpress… with no date for an up date on the aniga website I started my arduous search for a new gallery. Luckily I came across Next Gen Gallery, which although you can’t comment on the piccies, looks better and works more efficiently.
I finally made the home page recent pics work too! Woo! If you are a wordpressian I recommend Next Gen, and the support is amazing. I posted a question on the forum and I got a reply pretty much immediately.
So anyway, Sorry if you commented on any of my old images and now your comment has disappeared. I still have it but no one else can see it. I enabled it so that you can comment on the whole gallery, as you can no longer comment on the images individually, so you can go and post there if it bothers you that much

It was a while ago when I transferred everything, but from what I can remember I used the import an image folder function of next gen. So I just imported the aniga image folder. It still required a bit of sorting out, but I needed to have a clean up anyway. Next gen is much easier to use and it gets updated a lot more often, so its worth the time
