Hi guys! I am sorry for my slackness at updating. A few things have happened that have made me fairly slack regarding this.

1. I have decided that this site does not cut it any more. So I will be doing a new one.
2. I am moving house, we had to find a new place quick smart, and its been difficult to do, coz cambridge is expensive.
3. I have done so much, that I can’t be bothered to upload it, if I am going to start from scratch with a redesign anyway.
4. I’ve had a fair amount of paid stuff and project work to get on with. This tends to be pretty boring, and not useful on this site, although I do plan on having a clients section
   .

In the meantime, check out what comicboy have been up to. Their new stuff is cool.

I have been so down on myself lately its ridiculous. I have got so caught up in the little things that I am not seeing the bigger picture. Which is how I have been with my illustrations. I’ve found myself hating everything I’ve been doing. It seems like artists never admit to this. But I think people must get it a lot. I certainly do. The trick is to work through it. Because in a years time you might look at stuff and think ” actually thats quite good”. Or do the mundane things, the things that you know you have to do at some point, but have been putting off because they get in the way of your creativity, like setting up an ebay sellers account. (watch out for some of my paintings on ebay) Or making a myspace especially for illustration. (http://www.myspace.com/landofpaintedskies)
Why don’t artists admit that they have bad days? It’d make the rest of us feel better.

So far I have just written when I’ve updated… I never really knew what my intention was with this blog. I had a little updates section on my site. And then this guy I worked with said thats a BLOG! And told me about wordpress. I’d spent months trying to design this amazing flashy site with interactive bits and crazy stuff going on with the css. But really I felt like I’d achieved nothing, because it meant that my artwork went by the wayside. So I thought; Screw that. All I need is a site that will show my pictures and that I can update really easily. I wouldn’t mind an eshop either (which I am working on by the way). So I thought a blog-style thing was the way to go… but now I am not entirely sure what to do to make it interesting. Blogs tend to be boring by nature. So yeah. Let me know what you think.

Now for the update bit! I have added a styleswitcher. Even though I haven’t entirely made it work properly.
Also theres a few more pictures knocking about!

I’ve been making lots of changes to the site over the last couple of days, So I’m sorry if you’ve come on here and its seemed a little broken. Hopefully I can keep expanding on the functionality, so next time my computer breaks it won’t matter so much! lol. I haven’t got an image gallery that I like, I might have to try and put one together myself! I have now got a downloads page, with a few new desktops if you are interested! Let me know if you have one set as your desktop… Use my commenty thingy. I promise its not signing your soul away or anything.

I have also uploaded a couple of canvases I’ve been working on to the art section.

Say hello to the heart demon, telly head with his arm chopped off, some bug bombs a robot with a laser coming out of his eye and a creepy bunny.

This guy is spread across 3 canvases. Its like a jigsaw puzzle for dumbos.
