I hope a good christmas was had by all, and a happy new year…. and that norovirus didn’t get you. Or hypochondria about getting it after you saw it on the news.

So I have been doodling loads over christmas…but the gorram scanner has packed it in! However I have found some that I hadn’t uploaded, so check out my 2007 sketchbook. I’ll have to start a new one soon!

I got so many inspiring things for christmas; Tekkon Kinkreet, easily the best film I saw last year, a couple of graphic novels illustrated by Ashley Wood, who is second only in my book to Ben Templesmith. I love his stuff. It makes me want to be better.

I have made loads of new years resolutions, apart from completing everything in this previous post… and the usual being healthier, etc… I have decided to try and find websites that might add to my artistic mind tank and to yours if thats your sort of thing Maybe someone might find them useful, and it might make this blog a touch more interesting

Heres my first and foremost link…. Drawn.ca. It never fails to be easily the best portal to the world of drawing on the entire internet. Its always got something new and interesting to check out. I look at it everyday.

I felt rotten all weekend. It sucked. One of those stupid illnesses where you can’t really explain what is wrong, its like a bit of everything but nothing very severely. Anyway, this made me sit down on the sofa and draw all day long. I figured that I have just drawn stuff out of my head for too long and it doesn’t end up as good as the stuff that I draw from reality. So I got my imagine fx and used the free reference pictures. I came up with this:

I’m gonna upload them all into that sketchpad section. Man that section has some crap in it. But at least you can see how far I’ve come, right?

I have uploaded some new piccies, that could be seen as halloweeny…. but they probably would have been uploaded anyway! Please check out the new paintings, I have improved the photos and added a new one. Its a strange little canvas of a little guy trying to escape getting squished by a train.

I just noticed that my animation page doesn’t work!! No one told me. :’(

Oh well, I’ll fix it when I get home. Sorry if its all been a bit messed up!

UPDATE Its all good and sorted now. Also took the opportunity to move some bits and bobs around. Its been a long hard day so I’m gonna chill out now. Chilling is good.
